Krista Mcdonell Dr Rodriguez is awesome..I found her by a referral and its been one of the best things ever. I have 5 dogs.. she charged 50 to come to my house than only 69 per dog for annual vaccines saved me a bitt load of money when I called around every body else wanted over a 100 per dog for yearly shots..and best part was i didn't have to load 5 dogs up and drive to vets

I think that the Dunnellon Animal Hospital has emergency service...

Anyone knows which Veterinary Clinic is the best in the Dunnellon area? Is Rainbow river animal clinic with Dr. David Kralovanec any good? Does he offer good prices? I...
Brenda N. replied:
I personally like Dunnellon Animal hospital better. I had a couple of bad experiences with Dr. K back when he worked under Dr. Fox. On more than one occasion he called me a liar on how and what I was feeding my dog. I will never go back there as long as he is involved!
Fran H. replied:
Dr. Jackson at Blue Run Vet, she is kind and compassionate and she has the best vet techs.
Cheryl G. replied:
Dunnellon Animal Hospital on 488. Awesome place and great prices
Amanda L. replied:
I would never go back to Rainbow River. Dr. K told us to basically starve our already food aggressive Corgi because he thought she was fat. He told us to cut whatever she was eating in a day in half and only give her that no treats no table scraps nothing. When we told him that that would be a quarter cup of dog food a day he rolled his eyes at us and said yeah okay. I prefer Dunellen Animal Hospital although I was not too pleased with one of their vet techs when we were there last year with a dog who had an abscess. The vet tech came in and started interrogating me about what happened to the dog. She told me that they only get this type of abcess (on his head) when they have been beaten, which is a load of crap. I disagreed with their treatment plan but did it anyway because I felt pressured after basically being accused of beating my dog, whichis far from the case.
Debbie P. replied:
I like Dunnellon Animal Hospital, the veterinarians at Rainbow River clinic are incredibly rude.
Jamie G. replied:
Blue Run Vet has an excellent vet. Dr. Kristi Jackson
Brenda N. replied:
They were cheaper when I changed over. Not sure about now. I was willing to pay more when Dr. Fox was there.
Karen F. replied:
Dr. Mooreman At Dunnellon Animal Hospital is awesome
Fran H. replied:
Don't go to Rainbow River Animal Hospital unless you want to be insulted and treated like an idiot. My dog had an ear infection, I knew exactly what medication she needed but Dr. K would not prescribe it. After charging me 200.00 for worthless medication and countless rechecks, he finally prescribed the medication I originally asked for. Three days later the ear was fine.
Stephanie P. replied:
I also go to Dunnellon Animal Hospital the last 13 years on 488
Missy T. replied:
LIVE OAK ANIMAL HOSPITAL is the best vet I've ever been to!! They can handle pretty much anything you bring. My dog was heavily abused and can't handle being in public.... They handled her like it was nothing. The prices are outstanding too!!!
Dana B. replied:
Dr. Brian Morman at Dunnellon Animal hospital is great! I brought my dog in for an eval and he wanted to run a bunch of tests that I didn't think I could afford so he dropped the $50 exam fee to replace it with a test he wanted to do. He isn't there to empty your wallet like some vets are.
Barbara L. replied:
Dunnellon Animal Hospital is my vet..very good.
Brittnie K. replied:
I have had three terrible experiences with Dunnellon animal hospital and would never take my pets there again. The only vet in this area that I trust with my babies is Dr. Boyd at companion animal hospital in Ocala. And your first visit is free if you print the coupon off their website.
Robert F. replied:
I love dr. Jackson at blue run. 489-9080. She sits on the floor with my puppy and she is wonderful. Sue
New to the area, is there a good veterinarian and fairly inexpensive. In the citrus springs area? Have a black lab mix that just doesn't seem to be acting right.

Any bite marks? Thinking snake bite. If it is, the cat needs anti venom. Lecanto Veterinary Clinic will answer the phone. I do not know if they take payments or not. Always leave a message, the Dr's will call you back.
I need to find a vet that works on birds, particularly a lovebird. My bird needs some help with his beak. Does anyone have a recommendation? I hope this is ok to post....
