I have to be honest, even at $300 that photographer is probably losing money given the amount of time required to edit photos, and the cost of equipment. I honestly think you got lucky, and photography is absolutely a "you get what you pay for" situation. As an example, hiring a photo assistant in atlanta (who does nothing but carry things, run errands, and help with lighting) it costs $250 - so if you were getting a full photo session for $200... you got an amazing deal. **source:** I'm a commercial photographer.
