Hey good people. We (×2) are planning a getaway to Thailand Phuket (Patong) at the start of 2018. Would like...

We went through STA Travel. 9 nights (7 in Phuket Patong Beach and 2 on Phi Phi Island). Stayed in 2 really lovely hotels / resorts. Included breakfast daily and transfers between airport / hotel / Island etc. Dinners we ate at the local spots and it was really cheap and delicious. You can book tours while you are there (they usually have a tour desk at the hotel which will help you to book and give recommendations). The tours are extremely affordable and generally run for the day so it's really good value for money. STA Travel was amazing and everything was organized to perfection. You should really try stay on Phi Phi Island for at least 3 nights - it is breathtaking and there is so much to see and do. Definitely do a boat tour on Phi Phi - was the highlight of my trip!!!

Go onto booking.com and book a hotel there, I would only opt for breakfast as you out and about all day and the hotel food is rather monotonous.. we stayed at the Paripas hotel and it was extremely neat, clean and for really good rates through booking.com. it's a short walk to beach and near enough to all.. in Patong.. don't book tours here, cos you can bargain there..

Craig Howard. I do all my own booking and saved a fortune. Booked Deevan directly on the website and Novatel on hotels.com. Flights through Flight centre Galleria with Olga but only because she price beat my internet quote. Usually I use gotogate.com
