Hi Ryan. We run training programs. I am a Cadet member of the South African Board for Companion Animal Professionals (SABCAP) as a dog trainer and dog behaviourist. I can offer Basic Obedience at this stage, in August I am doing my next course for Agility, Protection, etc. We can do one-on-one as well as home visits. www.facebook.com/tailsology/ www.tailsology.co.za We use modern techniques, and prefer clicker training. We work with positive rewarding, and building a bond between you and your dog instead of breaking trust with the use of forceful or old techniques. I did my training course through South African Dog Training College.

Michael Bennetts maybe try taking your dog to a dog trainer or dog behaviourist. I would not recommend the training collars that shock the dogs because one of my friends had this on her dog and the voltage was either set to high or it malfunctioned because her dog got shocked by this collar. He yelped in pain then passed out. She rushed him to the vet and when the vet examined his neck there were burn marks. Please do not get a shock collar for your dog. I can recommend an excellent dog behaviourist if you are interested. She will get your dog trained with no pain and no harm.
