I had a slightly rough experience with [Bud Matthews](https://www.budmatthews.com/). Took a few extra phone calls and one extra visit, but when they realized they screwed up they made good. Didn't charge me for the unnecessary work and came back quickly. The work has held up. Obviously would've been nice to have it go perfectly, but I'd use them again.

I've had good experiences with [Wright Appliance](http://www.wrightappliance.com/). I've also heard really good things about [Durham Appliance Thrift](http://www.durhamappliancethrift.com/), but I've never used them myself.

I've used Scott Genry applicate repair (336) 503-2118 He's a super reliable guy. It can be tough getting on his list but highly recommended.
I am looking for a appliance repair person willing to barter skills. I am a local auto mechanic with a washing machine that goes nuts on the spin cycle. I can fix myself...
