Dermatology Recommendations? I'm trying to research dermatologists in the Capital Region, however like researching most doctors, there isn't much information available...

I see Lindsey at Upstate Dermatology (Miller Road, Schodack) and she's awesome. I saw Michael recently since Lindsey was super booked and he was great too. Everyone is super friendly and professional and they have this tool called Melafind that is totally painless and lets them check the disorganization of your mole before doing a biopsy. ETA [here is the link](https://www.upstatederm.com/clinical-services/medical-skin-care/) to their skincare department!

Capital Skin in Clifton Park is amazing. I used to get facials downstairs in the doctor's office, then switched to the spa upstairs. The spa results were actually significantly better than what I got under the doctor's care. Allie (at the spa) is incredible!
New to the area, give me the scoop! I'm new to the Troy/Brunswick area. I need to find a new dentist and doctors. Looking for a chiropractor, primary care and a couple...

I personally prefer St. Peter’s because they’ve been more compassionate in my experience. For primary care, I see someone through St Peter’s. If you ever have an orthopedic need, The Bone And Joint Center in Albany is where it’s at. Not sure about chiropractors, but Honest Weight Co-Op does free yoga. If you or a loved one has a mental health crisis, instead of CDPC, take them to Four Winds in Saratoga.
EDIT: If you need an allergist, Albany Allergy and Asthma is pretty good. They were able to diagnose and treat an uncommon condition I had. Also for OBGYN, j just go to Planned Parenthood. At 400 Patroon Creek Blvd, you have an Urgent Care plus tons of different specialists. You could knock out all your appointments in one day at one office

People tend to be pretty passionate in their allegiances in the St Peters vs AMC question; basically people who I have talked to agree that SPH is a more efficient and pleasant place to get your health care but the depth of subspecialty coverage at AMC may dictate where you go if you have complex needs, but for routine medical and surgical care SPH is more than adequate. AMC is big and chaotic, SPH is less big and less chaotic, but big enough to have good docs and med/surg services. \[Disclaimer: am doc at SPH\]. As far as recommending specific specialists, would need to know what specialties you need.

For chiropractor, I see Dr. Naussbaum at Nussbaum Chiropractic. Great people working here and am never waiting for an appointment.

Dr Lapinski in East Greenbush for dental is great. The whole office is really nice and I'm scared of dentists so it takes a lot for me to be comfortable. They keep up to date with tech and seem to not do unnecessary work and err on the side of caution. I highly recommend them. http://www.lapinskidental.com/
