This will be Vega's first time also i'm sure she'll be fine and I think you can book an appointment to go view them, they also take dogs in for a day if you wish to try it. http://www.westmainskennels.com/index.html

I cannot recommend http://candyflosscats.com enough. They are wonderful. We used to give them a key and at the drop of a hat they would come round.
Because our cat was old and blind (hate the past-tense

I would not recommend a cattery if you have opportunity to have the cat stay at home. They're territorial, taking them out of territory causes a lot of stress. Where in Glasgow? In Southside I can recommend someone I've used multiple times for two years now.

Catinaflat, that can find nearby catsitters and it details the catsitter's calender/schedule, also price range. Using a third party to pay the amount in case of any issue. I have been using it as an owner and catsitter. This year I am thecatsitter

If you're west end, catbuddies.co.uk Used him for years, very good. Never over Christmas so don't know availability

http://www.maythornecottage.co.uk is highly recommended. It's a little pricey, but really well equipped and maintained.
Can anyone recommend a good kennel or boarding home for dogs ?
Maria C. replied:
Hi Paula we used http://www.andelalie.co.uk/ for the night of the wedding and the dogs were good as gold in there, you can pay them extra and they'll bring the dog back to you when you come back, not sure if they provide a collection service as well xx
