Ok friends I need a great, kid friendly restaurant in downtown St. Louis, preferably within walking distance of the city museum....go :)
Dann H. replied:
Charlie Gitto's downtown is a great full service Italian restaurant and tell the manager Louie the couple from Peoria sent you...it is kid friendly and Britt can talk guns with him, lol. He is the owners grandson and Charlie is always sitting in the corner of the bar and answers the phone....GREAT food!
Emily F. replied:
Well, spaghetti for the kids and good Italian for you and Brit. Ken and Lucinda used to take me and Danny boy there. It's a neat warehouse ambiance and located downtown. For the best eats you need to consult with Jackie Coziahr Hultquist and Brian Hultquist!

We never leave the city without a stop at The Old Spaghetti Factory. The kids get so excited to take home their glass from the Cremosa they order.
Jackie H. replied:
Old Spaghetti Factory is down on the landing still I believe. It would kind of be a long walk but there are those bike taxis around that the kids may like. Rosalita's is pretty good Mexican and that's definitely walking distance. Everyone I talk to loves Baileys Range but I've never been. I'll keep thinking!

Old Spaghetti Factory is a must!!

I would avoid anything at Laclede's Landing down by the arch. They are redoing the whole area and it is a huge mess down there!! Flamingo Bowl is close to the city museum. You can order and eat while you bowl. We had a blast there! They have about anything you could want there. The pizza was really good
With so many awesome parks, activities, and restaurants in the Peoria area, we want to know...what is your favorite Central Illinois summertime activity?
Chris F. replied:
M & M Twistee Treat is one of our weekly stops..
