We go to Dartmouth Veterinary on Tacoma, and get a card each year or a phonecall reminding us to bring Cali in. But we don't mind, coz then we don't have to keep track and remember ourselves lol. Especially now that she has to have an annual check up to get the prescription for her Sentinel, and she needs a lepto shot each year as she goes fishing and geocaching a lot, and drinks from rivers etc.

My 9 year old just got one. Hers is able to be physically removed. Her moulders were not erupted enough for the one that has to stay in. We deal with Dr. Mccloud who has a office on Bridgewater and Halifax. She is fantastic.

PENHORN Dental!!!! Dr. Kiri is masterful with patients young and old. I went to Passage dental and omg they were absolutely useless with my son, they totally milked our dental plan, my son had a baby tooth lodged between two teeth. I spoke to him, prepared him for what to expect including the needle and they drew on the anticipation and worry of this extraction for weeks but having us come in every week for fluff and then when the dentist finally pulled his tooth she started by telling my son she was “sticking her finger into his gums” instead of the needle, well then my son was terrified thinking the dentist was cracked digging into his gums with her fingernails. It was a nightmare and we will never go back to Passage dental. Dr. Brian Kiri over at PENHORN Dental and his modern office with the latest technology and equipment and incredible staff were able to put our family at ease, not harassing us with calls or unnecessary visits and I recommend them highly.

Yikes, sorry you've had that experience. My daughter had an expander in for a year, no issues with it whatsoever (she now has braces). We go to Summit Dentistry in Bedford because they offer laser fillings (no needles) and are just awesome to deal with.

He has kids as well and I’ve seen him for years without issues. I have not dealt with anything other than fillings for myself however I think he’s a great recommendation as far as children go!!

Dr.Ripley at Ocean Park Dental is apparently very good. I'd recommend my family Doctor but I don't think he's taking new patients. However there may be other doctors at his clinic that might be. Call Forrest Hills Medical at 435-5530 and ask if Dr. Pacis is taking new patients. I've seen her several times when my Doctor was on vacation as she is pretty good.

I go to Dr. Sahar Aziz and I like her. I have heard from several that Dr. Pacis is good but routinely 45 plus minutes late.

I used to take our son to Dr Aziz at Montebello, until she failed to notice my son had pneumonia and not just a run of the mill cold (he'd been coughing for over a month, and lost 5 lbs in that time frame and she said he was still fine..) Took a pediatrician to diagnose him!

Tacoma family medicine has a new doc coming in Dr Hanna and they are setting up meet and greets. She is there taking another Dr place who moved. I had to call around, and choose places close to me or one one bus transit routes.

Saira Malik--terrible...office is dirty, has desk in exam room, wanted to do my pap with my daughter and husband in the room, didn't leave the room for me to undress, only did blood test and pap for physical and didn't check anything else, did not seem to care too much about anything. Not a good experience..

I really like Dr Hiltz in the Mic Mac Dental office. Andrea, his receptionist, is a doll to deal with and the Dental Hygienists are all super with kids, as is Dr Hiltz

I love Summit Denistry in Bedford. They use lazor for surface fillings=no freezing! My daughter had a filling and was done in 15 minutes (she literally skipped out of the room!), no pain and no freezing/swelling.

My niece is the tech at Smile Innovations in Fall River and she says her dentist is one of the best she has worked for.... Great office, good dentist

Dr. Bowes at Penhorn Dental is amazing with my kids. We took both kids in when they were 3 for a cleaning and to see what it was all about. His hygienist is great too, let's the kids kind of control the first appointment so it lessens the fear of the new experience.

We take our kiddos to Dr. Burke and Dr. Kennedy on Victoria Rd. They only treat children and have both studied at the IWK. Kids actually get excited to go to the dentist

Mic Mac Dental and we see Dr. Hiltz. He's great with kids and adults! I love their hours and as someone else mentioned, if there's an emergency, they will find someone in the office who can take you.

I used ratemds.com after bad experience with my kids and found an amazing dentist we go to Dr. Scott Green at hills family in superstore portland st. They have amazing staff!

We go to Dr Power at Summit Dentistry. He and their staff are wonderful and if you or your child needs a filling they use laser technology, not needles and drills. There is no freezing at all and takes less than 15 minutes! They also do evening appointments. HIGHLY recommend them for pain-free dentistry!

2. The appts are geared towards age. The hygienist/dentist know what a 2 year old is capable of. When I was a teenager I went to Brady White - he is now by the boardwalk. I can't imagine him not being great with kids as well....

I waited until my son turned 4. He let them do all that was needed including a cleaning. And he was able to understand what they were explaining. We go to Dr. Bonang at CH dental. The staff are so nice there!

All the way to Clayton Park is Dr. Lozowoski Super kind, nice man. I hate the dentist so I am glad I found a kind and gentle one myself

DR Horne. Has been our dentist since I was 5. Actually his dad was my dentist, lol and he is now my son's dentist. They are a great bunch and love children. They have cool shades for the kids to put on. The office is on Orion Dr. In woodside industrial park. (Up the hill behind value village) give me a minute to think of what the center itself is called. I have been going there for over 20 years. Additionally, because he gets sedated for fillings, Dr Nancy Kennedy in Victoria Rd. She specializes in kiddos. She’s is also awesome.

Dentists frequently offer electric toothbrush options, because they do a better job. But I always have one, so no problem for me. Dr. Lowe locally, is very good and I'd recommend her office in a heartbeat.

Ian - depends on the insurance carrier - I also go to MicMac dental now and I can't get direct billing. I need to pay upfront and then it is back in my back account within 2 business days. Same with when I went to Passage Dental - I had to pay up front. Up to the carrier.

Dr Janice Lowe in the Passage Dental is amazing, and she has dogs on site for people who may have some stress. They are therapy dogs that are trained to help children or adults with their fears around dental work.
