Try Jen at the Village Vets, she stayed at our house with our dogs, we also used Pampered Pets in Belran but several years ago. I did not like a few other kennels,but our dog was great at Pampered Pets, she does grooming & has a shop, it's on a farm, where they have horses & hens. Lovely area & the kennels are bi g with runs. I prefer someone coming to the house though.

My kennel building is heated and of course has AC for their comfort.

It's out of the way, but we take our dogs out to Ellershouse near Windsor to a place called Hound Tales Inn. It came recommended to us, so after going out to meet the owners and check out the grounds and accommodations, we decided to go with it. Our dogs have been out there for 3 extended stay visits in the past year and we (and the dogs) absolutely love it! http://houndtalesinn.com/ We have 2 hound dogs though, and part of our challenge was finding a place that truly understood that hound dogs like beagles and bassets (our dogs) only have a brain in their nose! They'll wander wherever, whenever they want and as far as they want... as long as it still smells good. The owners of the 'Inn' have 4 beags of their own, so that was huge comfort to us.

We love Hound Tales Inn out in ellershouse. It is out of the way but it's an amazing place for the animals. They also do a lot of work with one of their local bully rescue groups too, so lots of experience with the breed.
