Call Glenn Olson at (508) 255-2594. He's a very skilled handyman.
Bob S. replied:
I use Joe and Son Appliance Center.

Bob, is Glen back out on his own again? I heard he was working for Cape Associates. He did a lot of work on my parents house in the late 90's, and when I tried to reach out to him after he retired as fire chief I was told he worked for Cape Associates. Just curious, since I'd rather use Glen.
Bob S. replied:
Ruth, Glenn Olson now has his own company, BayWinds Home Property Services, and does a lot of different things. Glen is great and very dependable. His business phone is 508-255-2594.

I don't know if he's a contractor, but I use Jeff Leyton for everything and can't imagine that he wouldn't be able to do the vanity job. I can't say enough good things about him. I just had a local appliance store come out to clean my dryer vent and reconnect it. They said it all had to be pulled out and reinstalled. The cost was $875. Jeff did it for $160. He charges $40/hour, works quickly, and is scrupulously honest. Actually, I probably shouldn't share all this - it might make it harder for me to get him!

Thanks Bob for the contact information for Glenn, I truly appreciate it, and I agree with what you say. Lauren, I have used Jeff Leyton for some jobs in the past (he looked after the house when my mother was gone), and I agree, he is scrupulously honest! I'll never forget the time I picked up my mother down in Virginia, but neglected to bring the key to her house when I brought her back. Thankfully, Jeannie Covell (his wife at the time, and someone I grew up with) had the key at their house, and gave it to me. He does good work!
