Very sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad, Eric. I lost my Dad, Lou Robb, who worked as a top dept. head at Penn State and as director of the Allentown campus, last year to a heart attack.

I volunteer on the Board of Success with Honor and am an alumni fellow. Feel free to email judymeehan2013@gmail.com and we can do a conference call to get something going.

As to your second point, you're right. I lost my dad my junior year at Penn State in a plane crash while he was testing planes. There are dozens of other students I work with who lost their parents while serving in the military. All of these losses are tragic and I want to take care of each of their families and their needs. The university as a whole cannot do anything for one of these cases because then it would have to for all of these cases and the mechanism and funding isn't there. I strongly encourage any and everyone to develop an endowment that provides scholarships to children of alumni whose lose a parent in the line of service in perpetuity.

Write to Samsung and sent pictures. http://www.samsung.com/us/appliances/washers-dryers Write to corporate Aarons. Forget the BB they are totally worthless. If any local paper or TV station has a consumer advocate call them. Last take them to the magistrate. It's a minimal fee to file against them. Don't give up or they win and crappy companies need to pay.
