http://www.primechoiceautoparts.ca/default.aspx Order parts from here. It is a Canadian company and super cheap. They offer warranties as well.
goto dash Distributers NOT Napa or other brand name place talk to Don he is one of the managers explain your situation BUY your parts buy the Bosch composite pads if your rotors are evenly worn and no heavy gouging there is NO i repeat NO need to replace them as for rears rears typically only account for 20-30% of your braking are you sure the rears need to be done? Most places will charge you a absorbanant amount because times are always tough they will say things like oh your rear shoes or pads are at 20% but don't tell you that the 20% will last you another year and a bit because of there lesser use Give Don a call dash Distributers North side buy your parts from there talk to don maybe he can cut you a deal I don't pay retail personally but we also do a lot of shopping from there im sure he could possibly help out If you need a guy to do it take it to Darcy at zoom automotive infact take it to zoom first he won't charge you to have a quick look tell him I sent you there looks like a little dive hole in the wall but Darcy is a good man and a fair one Have him look at the pads and shoes and rotor and drums He does have the ability to also machine your rotors to but depends how much they cost if it's worth it check with him If you do infact have to replace front pads and rotors as well as rear shoes yes I could see that being a pretty fair price about 60 for pads 40 per rotor and 60 for shoes and about hour and a half labour comes out to about 400 assuming your vehicle infact needs all this work they claim and if they actually do the work (who knows) seems a bit cheap honestly if they do infact do all the work I would honestly personally quote about 500 for the work your detailed as I would charge you a 20-25% markup on parts plus 90-120/h labour and again that's highly part specific if you want the best of the best or you want something cheap If your rotors are fine pads are a 15m job either side tops and can be done by any man or women with a 14mm wrench and a c clamp / or break compression tool I encourage you to join the "alberta auto enthusiast group" and just ask for help there im sure any number of the guys has the spare time to help -James Automotive fleet mechanic for enough years to know

I use these when it's a short run with a destination where screw shoes simply won't do upon arrival. for solely training runs I MUCH prefer screws. http://ca.shop.runningroom.com/accessories/winter/traction-aid/everyday-g-3-traction-aid.html

I'm wearing a pair of shoes from this site: http://www.jjshouse.com/Women-S-Kids-Satin-Heels-Sandals-Latin-With-Ankle-Strap-Dance-Shoes-053058440-g58440 I've been quite pleased with how well they've fit and held up given my usage. There's a little bit of a wait for them to get here, but decent savings.
Does anyone knows where can i buy cook pants and shoes (croc like )in Edmonton ? I tried in a place but they had few selection and also quite expensive nontheless.

My husband is a chef and a lot of his kitchen clogs he's bought online, although his most recent pair he picked up from Mark's Work Warehouse. The Crocs store in WEM is also a good bet. Pretty much all kitchen shoes are fairly expensive and the selection always sucks, FYI. Just find something comfortable that works and bite the bullet. As far as pants go I know he usually buys them at Wholesale Club (specifically the one on 99 th, but I don't know if that matters.) Good luck!

Nait book store has kitchen clothes I think.

If you mean kitchen clogs, I have a pair of Sikas that are in pretty good shape. Leather uppers, wooden soles, size 41 (euro, men's). I was wearing them for maybe a year then got out of kitchen work ages ago, they've just been taking up space since. PM me if that's your size and you want to try 'em.
Back when I got them, you pretty much couldn't get them locally - a coworker wanted them and organized a group order, possibly through one of the restaurant supply companies.
Just an aside, you can expect stuff like this to be either expensive, or crap. Especially the shoes. But good ones will make a huge difference in terms of how tired and sore you feel after a long shift, and will also last much longer (ie years instead of months) than just getting cheap black runners to work in.

[TGP](http://www.tgp.ca/wps/portal/crs/tgp/warehousemarkets/edmonton) on Yellowhead and 145 St has a section for chefs / cooks. Not sure if they have the specific products you're looking for, but a phone call may be of help.

Where is a good place to get plus size workout clothing in Edmonton? Preferably priced decently but also made decently :P
What shoes would you recommend to work out in?...
Carmen S. replied:
I would go with a regular cross trainer. I find most important is to feel for the arch support. If there isn't adequate arch support you will have all sorts of weird aches and pains Costco has Adidas shoes for about $36 which is a great price compared to any athletic store. If you need additional arch support, go to an athletic store and inquire about "super feet" insoles. They have all different kinds depending on what your foot needs. As for workout clothes, see if the extra large yoga pants at costco fit. They are great quality for a great price. They don't have a change room but you can purchase and if they don't fit you can take them back. Otherwise, check Old Navy or honestly for workout clothes, I would even check Value Village.

United Cycle is a great place to go for shoes. Bad shoes can lead to injuries so it's important to get help with choosing the right shoe. I think there is even United Cycle coupons in the SUTP

Okay for plus size work out gear it can be interesting. addition elle just started getting in an excellent line.. where were you when i started a year and a half ago??? anywho i digress walmart gets a few items in that are okay but they don't last long. you can try old navy but i find there sizes are crap and when they say its xxl its actually a medium LOL or feels like it to me. Layne Bryant teamed up with rebook and they have some good stuff. Jc penny has excellent gear and athleta.com is great but pricey but worth it. marks work wear house has awesome yoga pants. peningtons gets the odd good outfit for the gym specifically. as for shoes please get a proper fitting done shoes can make or break training but more specifically when it comes to running. Cross trainers for the gym are basically find on you like and that works well. I have a shoe guy at united cycle his name is betto he is awesome. i buy all my runners for both running and the gym from there. fast trax is good as well running room on 109 st is good as well but can be hit and miss. alsoooo gym gear can be pretty much anything you are comfortable in but i would advise against super baggy stuff . lol sorry for the novel
Sara M. replied:
I. Love old navy pants. They don't fall down when you run! Lol!! Also running room gadgets how you walk and chooses shoes for you based on that. So that's pretty cool. I love vibrams (barefoot runners) but they aren't for everyone. I was finding most shoes regardless of fit hurt my feet with heavy impact exercise and vibrams were the solution.
