Cheap haircuts for women/unisex near Amstelveen? Hey so I'm at the VU, and being a month into my studies here I naturally have zero money. I desperately need a haircut,...

if you feel like heading up to amsterdam you can try the amsterdam salon(?) academy. I think the idea is you get your hair cut by students studying to become hairdressers which is reflected in the prices, 11 e for a haircut with additional discount if you can show a student card. http://www.kappersakademie.nl/nl/kapsalons/salon-amsterdam#aanbiedingen

http://www.teamkapsalon.nl/ is a pretty decent chain, not too expensive either (20 Euros or so for a regular haircut).

Djam at ceintuurbaan (crossing with ferdinand bolstraat) is 15 euro, english speaking and very good.
Can anybody recommend a good quality and not expensive hairdresser??

I like Groom Rock and Groom Classic in Kamppi. I used to go to the student hairdresser place in Kamppi (you can find their homepage at unika.fi), but the quality wasn't always very good.
