I dont know a personal trainer but take a look at topknotmode.com and theres an instagram page called Kimberfitgirl. Shes pretty good.

They also have a gym in the parking lot but you have to leave the building. Blue Box Cafe has a Pokestop you can hit from inside plus 2 more you have to walk a little bit for. However the closest gym is on Riverside.

Pro Boxing Fitness is awesome! They have boxing, strength and conditioning, yoga, weight training, etc. It depends on what you are looking for. The Centre is good also if you are looking for weight training and aerobics classes. The Centre is reasonably priced as well.

Planet Fitness is best for me. It's cheap, very clean, open 24/7, and has everything I am looking for as far as cardio & weight machines. They don't have any fitness classes/personal training options, but there are trainers available to help you get started or if you have any questions about how to use equipment (never met with any myself). With very few exceptions, the people there are just looking to work out and don't seem to bother anyone else. I used to go to LA, but got tired of paying triple what I pay now trying to work out surrounded by so many people who were clearly there just to socialize. I did like the pool there (when it wasn't being used by unsupervised kids like it was a waterpark).

Planet Fitness has about the best overall gig going as far as, gym memberships are concerned. Now if you want a more private facility with a one on one trainer, contact Envy Fitness in West Dundee. Mike Whalen is a friend of ours and has been training my wife and a friend, for some time now.

Planet Fitness is very low cost, clean, and has a good variety of cardio and resistance equipment. Not much along the lines of free weights, and no regular personal training (not sure if that's what you are interested in...) Overall, a great workout place for a great price (in my opinion:) )
