I recommend the Van Fossens to my clients because I have heard a lot of good things about their practice. I have a wellness clinic in Elk Grove. As a Clinical Massage Therapist I don't believe chiropractic is best on its own. I believe tighten muscles need to be worked. Lactic acid needs to be pushed out and fresh blood brought to the muscles for healing to take place. There are usually fascia issues as well on many people that a good massage therapist can take care of. Massage therapy retrains the proprioceptors which tell the muscles how long or short they need to be. Once muscles are shortened they need to learn again where we want them to be. They pull on other muscles which create a lot of cross patterns and trigger points causing pain. I believe in chiropractic work, I just believe the two work best hand in hand to bring true healing to the body.
Does anyone know of a chiropractor that takes walk ins in the Elk Grove or Schaumburg vicinity? Severely pinched nerve is what it feels like and I have to get in today....

Brandon James, you need to see Dr. Titus Chiu!! he's legit the best! " Dr. Chiu became the first and only physician in the city of Chicago to receive board certification in the specialty field of chiropractic neurology after completing a three-year pos t-doctoral program in neurologythrough the Carrick Institute for Graduate Studies and by successfully passing all board examinations. Currently, there are less than 600 board-certified chiropractic neurologists worldwide. "
