I know Glastonbury is a little out of the way but I highly recommend Dr Risenger.. this is my second time with braces and he’s been nothing but amazing! I saw 4 other orthodontists to get quotes and they just wanted to make my teeth straight, little did I know I actually had a cross bite where my wisdom teeth that grew in and it needed to be fixed to be functional.. not just straight.

My older daughter goes to Dr. Smith in Enfield. He is great. My younger daughter needs a palate expander now, so we're exploring our options. We go to Dr. Bloom, also, and they now have an orthodontist right there. I made an appointment for a consult with that one to see if it will be any cheaper than Dr. Smith was for my other daughter's palate expander. I made the appointment while we were there this morning and didn't get an appointment until July 15 th.

I went to Dr Scott Smith in Enfield. He is awesome!!! My kids went to Dr Gange.... If I had to do it over again I would bring them to Smith instead. I'm not fond of the rude receptionist at Gange office. Smiths office is more updated and seems way cleaner. There is not a ton of room at Gange office so u don't really get to go back with ur kids and they don't come out with any updates. U have to ask.

Something to also consider about orthodontists are the types of retainers that they offer after braces. I went to Dr. Smith and he gave me the invisalign retainer. It didn't work for me, it was uncomfortable and as 14 year old sometimes I forgot to put it in at night. I asked them if I could have a metal one, or have metal bars called lingual bars on the back of my front teeth. He said he didn't do that. Long story short, I need braces again and dental insurance will only help pay for them once.

We used him for my oldest child. We are using R Scott Smith for my middle child. More expensive, but worth it in my opinion.

We went in for a consultation and have decided not to go to him. We like Dr. Cordes, and Dr. Scott Smith, both in Enfield.

It's for a Co-Worker of mine. With her dental plan she has limited options of who she may choose for care. I know Scott Smith has had great reviews. Unfortunately, he is not an option for her.

I hear ya. That's why my olderst went to him. Check to see if Dr. Grange (Windsor) is on her plan. I heard good things about him.

I was disgusted with Santiniello. We went in for a consultation, and not only was his office horribly outdated, he was very unprofessional. He asked me a question about our insurance. I mentioned my daughter had two insurances, the primary being through her father who we had zero contact with. Dr S says, "what happened, ya didn't love him anymore?" Really? That's less than none of your business. We were much happier at Dr Smith's office, even though insurance ultimately denied us again. But he was much more professional with a properly efficient office.
