We're just starting at Uconn and I'm pleased so far. Dr Uribe is our guy and my daughter is comfortable with him, as am I. Our Dr acquaintances took all of their kids there...we were impressed by the value, so it's a win win in my opinion and on my confidence scale as well.
Ellen D. replied:
UConn has a residents orthodontic clinic. It's overseen by Dr. Uribe, who my daughter has gone to for a number of years for a complicated orthodontic situation. For more straightforward cases, the work is usually done by residents with Dr. Uribe overse eing. It is less expensive than seeing a private doctor. Here's the web page. They are currently located in Dental Clinic 7 in John Dempsey but are moving to the new Outpatient Pavilion (down the hill from the hospital) in the next few weeks. http://orthodontics.uchc.edu/patients/index.html

Lois R. replied:
I am one of the Receptionist's for the UCONN Orthodontic clinic. Please ask for me or leave me a message. I will be glad to register you or your child (we accept children & adults) & set up a consultation appointment. Look us up at "University of CT Health Center". Medical/Dental Services.
Susan G. replied:
My daughter did UCONN years ago, was great, my others Dr. Rosenberg!
Donna C. replied:
My older 2 daughters had great results up at the UCONN Orthodontic Clinic. However, it is extremely hard cancel and make appointments on the phone. You usually need to make all appointments when you are there. Also, it does take more time and waitin g there - if you are patient then it will work for you! Lois Guinan Romaniello, I am happy to hear that you work at the clinic now, in the past none of my calls were ever returned - I had to get in touch with the oncall fellow to get to anyone about my daughter's broken brackets, as well as cracked retainer, etc.
Kathleen W. replied:
My boys go to UCONN. Yes it may take a little longer, but the price can't be beat. The care is great & Dr Upodhay is awesome. Lois is the head receptionist & has made the place great! She is only there till 2 pm so call her. She is so nice & accommodating. They are moving into a beautiful new office next month. Corrine call me & I can give you my experience.

Definitely Barry Rosenberg. Former neighbor, great dentist, nice family.

Dr Adam Daniels-Vernon. He is the best! Great staff and worth the drive. If the drive is far than Rosenberg Orthodontics. I have been working in the dental field over 15 years. Know them both very well. I would bring my son to either. Like · 1 · Yesterday at 5:52 am
