u/HBK2694 PLEASE [file a complaint](https://apps.colorado.gov/dora/licensing/Activities/Complaint.aspx) against this dentist with the “Division of Professions and Occupations.” Doing so can potentially save many others from dealing with the same (or worse). Edit: You can also [check license status](https://apps.colorado.gov/dora/licensing/Lookup/LicenseLookup.aspx) on their site and see if the person has any disciplinary history. Great place to look beforehand.

Dr. Milausnic in Lakewood is very trustworthy, gentle, and capable. I had a root canal and crown from a broke tooth ordeal a few years ago and it's always bothered me but the dentist that did it was like "it's fine!" as if constant pain for years is normal after it's all finished up, I switched to Milausnic and it was easy to go through, easy to recover from, doesn't bother me, and is affordable. I have solid dental insurance but my one filling he's done was $40 out of pocket and it sort of didn't sit right with my bite so he immediately got me back in and adjusted it.

I always had a fear of the dentist which kept me away for most of my life. Then I tried Awesome Dental in Stapleton and Dr Jack and his team are so great. I have been seeing them regularly for 3 yrs now :)

High Pointe in Thornton was great when I lived up there. Even sensitivity tested a crown for me for free once. The doc used to make crowns but I think they stopped doing that; the porcelain looks like a real tooth almost tho. Excellent cavity work as well.

I feel for you OP. A bad dentist can be worst than no dentist. Good on you for recognizing the problem and trying to get it fix ASAP. I stuck with my bad dentist for way too long and it caused permanent damage to my gum line.
