in Erlangen http://www.hautarztpraxis-dieckmann.de/dr--med--detlef-dieckmann.106.0.html Very good English, very nice, and they are a couple and can both treat you if you have a preference for a male or female.
Hi ! Can anyone rcommend a good dermatologist in Erlangen city? Thank you;)

Both me and my husband have used Dr Albrecht Hindenburgstrsse 14, 91054 Telefon 09131 2 54 00 (if you are braver than me!) He speaks good English but his manner is a little 'efficient' shall we say, but he seems to really know his stuff. I just went there and asked for a Termin (the receptionist didn't speak any English as far as i could tell) The clinic is on the left hand side of the road if you are coming up Maximilianplatz towards Bismarck Str, there is a gold plate on the wall but the surgery entrance is under a tunnel/carporty thing.

My husband and I have been to Drs. Dieckmann as well and both of us thought they were excellent
Lisa B. replied:
Drs Dieckmann were great for me with my private insurance but then they were the ones whose receptionist wouldn't make an appointment for my bleeding baby covered in a rash for 3 weeks, so I refuse to go them myself now. Daughter has state insurance. That seems to be the difference.

No way Dr albrecht. He told me i couldn't get skin cancer because i'm of asian origin then when i reacted to an injection said "that's interesting i'll have to mention it to my professor". No joke. Hautklinik burnt my bum testing for sun allergies - took over 6 months to heal. My recommendation Drs dieckmann http://www.hautarztpraxis-dieckmann.de/ they do speak English & are good.
Any recommendation for a family dermatologist that speaks English in Erlangen? My daughter started to have white spots on her face. Not sure if its a virus or from the...

Dr. Dickmann if you get an app. (2 docs, they are a couple) - he is amazing !
Hey Michelle, my son also has some strange white spots on his cheek. I have one on my hand.soon after we came to Germany in Feb and it started to get sunny. After reading, turns out to be a fungal infection. It's called Tinea Versicolor. My son has had it in US too once. Usually treatable with ointments. I was also planning to go to a dermatologist. Thanks Vera, for info on this dermatologist..Michelle, hope your daughter feels better soon!
Found a great dermatologist to recommend! Great English, very nice, friendly guy.
