start with mobilitywod.com. there's a subscription fee...but you can also find older free videos on youtube. work on releasing your posterior chain and see if that puts slack into the system and alleviates the pain. that's what i mean by "homework". theresa is really good about making sure you go home with stuff to work on. I see her once a month or so simply to improve range of motion and basic maintenance.

Dr Fillat at the Tierrasanta Chiropratic Group. Very reasonable prices
Chrissie F. replied:
Just seeing this. I love dr. Beau at chiropractique. Off of Washington/El Cajon Blvd. May be a bit easier for you to go during the day bc of where you park. It's difficult for me so I started seeing Dr. Garrett in the Merrill Lynch building downtown. Both offer massage and accupuncture. Chiropractique is better for both, but dr. Garrett takes my insurance. Let me know if you want to chat!

are you sure it's sciatica? is it a nervy/burny type sensation (numbness and tingling) or is it just pain through range of motion... low back pain is often a symptom of tight hamstrings, piriformis, QL, etc.. the whole posterior chain is at play there. Becoming a Supple Leopard is written by Dr. Kelly Starrett of Mobility Wod. Theresa is on staff with him also
Ray R. replied:
i'm pretty sure I've recommended MOBILITYWOD.COM to you before.

Brett owns Longevity Physical Therapy. I was a volunteer PT aid there for a while. Nice people..but not my cup of tea as far as PT goes...
Jeff B. replied:
I seriously LOVE Brett. I went to him back when he was head of San Diego Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy. 2 nd PT I went to... the first one was absolute shit. Brett got me back to Wrestling, BJJ, and Judo when everyone else told me I'd probably never train again.
Jeff B. replied:
I have a PT that trains with me, you could also contact Dr. Mark Cheng. The man is a genius... NOT joking. He may be a bit pricey but work EVERY penny.
Ray R. replied:
Total agreement with Jeff. Staying supple is CRUCIAL. But also very important is evaluating your movement patterns and technique which could be contributing to junky tissue. My PT is Dr. Theresa Larson DPT and she owns Movement Rx unfortunately she just flew off to Costa Rica to help with a retreat so she's not immediately available. I've a bunch of people to her and she's been awesome. She actually did a mobility clinic at the gym last night...
Anybody recommend a chiropractor around my neck of the woods? Pretty sure I have a pinched nerve, figured I would start there first before I go to a doctor.
