Dentists in Escazu, Costa Rica

I went to see Dr. Chan in Nicoya 2 weeks ago for a root canal. It was $260. She didn't personally do it, but had a compatriot do it. My tooth ended up being split, so after all the drilling he didn't do it, and cost me nothing. Very good experience, and I liked going there better than all the Canadian Army dentists I've spent my life visiting lol.

I did 5 years of research mainly on Dental Tourism a few years ago when i had my guest house & first off - ONLY go to someone that SPECIALIZES in Root Canals as they can be VERY tricky. Having had numerous ones over the years, trust me - on this!! 85% of them had to have SOMETHING redone. Also, MAKE SURE YOU GET A WRITTEN ESTIMATE - especially with one company mentioned above as are well know for prices not ending up what they initially qouoted you. Elizabeth Meza I have heard over & over that she’s THE BEST dentist in the COUNTRY for ROOT CANALS & that has THE BEST equipment specifically for this. Several years ago we had fairly extensive dental work - bone grafts, implants, bridges, crowns - done by a USA trained Tico dentist, Dr. Gil. The work was flawless and reasonable price.
