You don't need a prescription for antibiotics. I have bought them before without one. This will help you on what you can use with a penicillin allergy and how long you should take the medication you use and how many pills per day. It does involve some math. http://www.aafp.org/afp/2013/0901/p338.html
Can anyone recommend me a good Dermatologist. Seen a few doctors, but not helping with my psoriasis that I have. Thank you.

A simple and effective natural medicine is pure Virgin coconut oil. Maybe you would like to give it a try or use in combo with your prescribed treatments. Wishing you well! http://homeremediesforlife.com/coconut-oil-for-psoriasis/

We had Blue Cross Costa Rica. I think they are pretty good but the only thing is I don't think it works in other countries besides Costa Rica. I have IMG Global now with Latin America only coverage to reduce the premium (excluding USA). If you just travel down here for short stints you may just want to buy a travel insurance or medical evac policy so you can go back to the USA if you have something serious and use your USA policy. All of these polices are like pre-ACA policies in the USA where you may have to fight tooth and nail if you have a claim. At least I can sue IMG in the USA though!
Marcella M. replied:
We purchased Blue Cross here in Costa Rica and it does work in other countries...at least in the USA

I understand that Cima used to bill direct for patients but that stopped some years ago when they were refused patent and were stuck with a substantial amount unpaid. Vets were then forced to pay and seek reimbursement. There was a woman in CR who had past experience with medical billing that set up shop helping vets properly code the reimbursement requests to assure payment. Medical reimbursement is not a straightforward process even in the USA. Doctors and hospitals rely on expert help and still are refused payments. Add translation from a different culture and system and the degree of difficulty mounts quickly. Proceed with caution Perhaps someone has more recent information as I researched this over 10 years ago for my brother
