I can vouch for Avian and Exotic. Both Jenkins and Stout have treated my birds and are great. There are closer vets, but I make the drive to see them.

There are quite a few Facebook groups where you can get good information. One of them is Poultry Natural Living & Herbal Care

I have had several people say that All Pets in Encinitas are great with home flock. 760-634-2022. Brian Loudis, or Nicholas Helfrich are supposed to be the birds guys.

Jeff Jenkins in Mission Valley is an avian specialist. Roseanne Brown in Rancho San Diego seen a couple of my chickens. I can't say that either is a poultry specialist though.

Avian special Dr. Larry Nemetz here in Orange at The Bird Clinic treats poultry and is amazing. He's quite pricey but well worth it. Never rushes you and every chicken is as important as every other type of animal with feathers.

Usually as an Animal Communicator~ it helps if I have a picture- but I agree with above! Get him to Vet ASAP! And yes it has to do with food- many do not realize they are feeding pets "tainted" by-products from China that are now common in the Animal feed- This causes bodily functions to shut down and can cause death! See DogFoodAdvisor.com for some recalls~ Now be aware that the FDA has no power over pet food- so a recall has to come from the company selling the food directly- which, of course costs them Millions $ ! I have a friend whom I do an internet show with that had her dog go ill- as you have said- I told her on food- turns out food that she had been feeding (A lot of years) just turned up on RECALL! She promptly called PURINA, was turned to their legal department and reimbursed for Vet bills! Please see Vet!

Don't panic hun. It could be a lot of things. I have a dog that went down suddenly. She walks beautifully a year later. Try care credit or start a page to fundraise on www.giveforward.com. Also try www.pawhealer.com. Chinese herbs can do wonders. Be open to a physical therapist, vet or holistic vet. Private message me if you want to discuss in more details. Hugs, Mary

just wondering if it could be the tick disease? he should be seen. if it is nuerological time is of the essence. don't be afraid of the financial issues. I was on the way to the vet and creating her www.giveforward.com page while my friend drove us there. if you have a regular vet that you have been with they may be able to work with you.
