Larry Kaplowitz, I'm not totallly sure what you mean by sympathetic to alternative economic paradigms, but we love our accountant. She is extremely thorough and very fair. First used her at Park Street and now we use her for our non-profit. Her name is Phyllis MacLuan. She is very progressive and forward thinking gal.

US tax law dictates that alternative currencies are 'barter' and are claimed at the US dollar amount. In most cases you only have to claim profits if you exchange your alternative currency back into dollars as if they were a good that were sold. https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Tax_compliance
