Whoops. My 2 nd hand info about it being moved was wrong. It was built in 1902. BUT! I did find two cool links on historic Eugene homes for you all. smile emoticon http://lostandfoundeugene.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive... http://www.eugene-or.gov/DocumentCenter/View/12589
Bookstore was called Hungry Head. I met Christian and Steve Perry at a New Year's eve party around 1985. Fast forward to 2005, I nearly took out a non-conforming loan with Christian and his partners to complete a house moving project I was given bad fi nancial advice on. They were somewhat less than scrupulous, and had I gone ahead with that loan I would have lost EVERYTHING. Was directed toward a less predatory non-conforming lender by my credit union.

For a while three or four years back, The Calkins House was SONG, the locus for a weekly Ben Bochner Club, which actually included a lot of songs Ben had not written also.
I am still looking for "full" part time work (20-30 hrs a week) preferably in a coffee shop or other high energy position. Please let me know if you know of anybody...
