Instead of a massage therapist/chiropractor, I'd recommend going to a physical therapist so they can both treat the symptoms, and give you exercises to help address the real issue. Plus there is a better chance it'll be covered by insurance (though you should check your specific policy). I did two sessions at ProRehab for my shoulder pain a few years ago both that acutely helped with my pain, and gave me long-term exercises that are still effective compared to the massage therapy/chiropractors I had previously used. I think my co-pay was around $50, but I'd give them a call to see what your out of pocket cost would be.

My wife is a massage therapist, she has been doing massage for 10 years now and just moved from a spa environment to her own studio on Green River Rd. She offers a range of services and her 60 minute massage is under your price point. Her website is https://restrequired.glossgenius.com/ I know I'm biased, but she is excellent at finding knots and helping me when I hurt. She is especially good at working the knots around the upper shoulder and curving around the shoulder blades. If you have an questions you can text her at the number on the website or dm me.

I am sorry that I don’t know anything about massage therapists in town. Here’s another viewpoint re what type of help is best: I have MDs in my family and was brought up to think that chiropractors were quacks. As an adult, I found out for myself that chiropractic care is much more effective especially for back pain. I’ve been to PTs without much help. One had me buy an expensive brace and at Pro Rehab, there were curtains as doors, so everyone could hear everyone else’s discussion. The PT gave me a paper that showed me one exercise. I hope that wherever you end up going, you find relief!

Might check Deaconess. I have the same issues and it does help a lot. Check with MidWest skin Institute. It’s been awhile because of covid. Acupuncture and chiropractor works wonder. Winiger chiropractor. If you go every month it’s less than 45.00.
My massage therapist friends, please read. If you know a massage therapist, please forward this to them. Please do not just recommend someone.
