I would suggest checking out Rover there are some very awesome people on there! You can find drop in rates for people to come by for 30 minutes at a time to let them out, feed them, or walk them. Really whatever you need. https://www.rover.com/

Sounds like the dog spot in north Everett is what you're looking for. We separate our dogs by large, medium, small and micro there are usually 10-13 smalls/micros in a room. We send our 2 year old to [Harbour Pointe Kids](http://harbourpointekids.homestead.com/) 2 days a week and have zero complaints. We had an in home home nanny before, but decided she needed to get some more socialization with kids her age. Not as important with an infant, I guess. We found the nanny through care.com.

If you work at Boeing, there's one just North of the factory along Perimeter Road, but I don't know any details about it. I've never asked anyone about the quality.

For sure at least get a second opinion; if there's no underlying medical issue that would complicate the surgery, there shouldn't be ANY reason to not be able to do the spay/neuter. It's a very common, basic surgery which I'm shocked any vet would discourage. Agreed with Tina, Perrinville Animal Hospital or Cedar Plaza Vet Clinic are excellent options for a second opinion. Please look into it before accepting the poor opinion of one vet.:)
