I need a carpet cleaner that can reverse pet stains/smells. My bulldog has left her mark...a lot.

You have to neutralize the area where the urine is first then call a carpet cleaner to extract . Dog urine contains a compound that dogs can smell and are compelled to remark the area. If you don't neutralize it it will only happen again. When the carpet man comes he then injects water into the carpet dispersing the urine even wider then extracts, however the scent in the urine remains only for the cycle to continue. If it's a wide spread problem your better off replacing the carpet and the pad and treating the subfloor before install of new carpet. Going forward or for small affected areas use a product called "URINE OFF" for dogs...Some Veterinary offices carry it..It's around $16 for about 24 ounces. You will have to buy 4 or more depending on your needs. You can also buy on line..just Google it but then you will have to pay shipping. It works! The dog will not remark the area because he can't pick up the scent..I have tried all brands.,and this truly works..the others are a waste of money. You have to retrain and be on top of your dog to go outside thru doggie door...make sure dog has access but you have to prompt the dog to retrain for about 2 weeks to reinforce going outside. If you replace the carpet use the product on subfloor or cement as instructed. New stains ..use as directed. Good luck!

I know they are not local but I have been in the carpet industry for over 10 years. I refer out Bagnall Services out of Littleton. They aren't the cheapest or most expensive but he is honest and does hot water extraction's which are the best way to clean carpet. If you have urine that keeps wicking through, it's most likely in your pad. I typically always sell moisture barrier pads now to help prevent that problem. I have lost carpet sales to Bagnall Services
ISO carpet cleaning recommendations, preferably a service that has a "no residue" type product. Please indicate if you have used them personally. Thank you!
