Do not bother with South Hills Electric. They gave my wife a $6600 estimate to add a bathroom vent fan.

I personally haven't used - but recommendations from neighbors on [nextdoor](https://dormontbythepark.nextdoor.com/news_feed/) www.parmeelectric.com Kuz Electric CW Electrical Services Good luck with the new house and welcome to the neighborhood

thumbtack.com (i found spynda electric there and have been using him ever since).

We used Baker's Waterproofing for our sagging joists problems. Replaced 2 inadequate posts with 4 more substantial ones, then raised the center of the house by about an inch. Ran ~$3 k.

I use king electric. They aren't the cheapest option but I feel that the guys are honest and it's a reputable company. You'd no doubt get a cheaper deal elsewhere.

We used [Zap Electric](http://zapelectric.vpweb.com/?prefix=www) to rewire a house we just bought. He was pretty quick about his work and I'm happy with him. We also had him run RG6 and Cat5 e cable as well.

I was happy with LiveWire Services (Bill White) for a whole-house (surface-mounted) wiring job, as well as a service line and box change for electrician. No recommendation for GC.
JaredMcLaughlin replied:
Quite frankly, I wouldn't buy if you can get out of it now. Neither of these projects is going to be cheap.
