There are lots of good ones. If in NP I recommend Dr. Bauer by the post office. If in Fairbanks, Dr. Gerick is good (I think that is how you spell his name).

Ok this is a good deal of information but since we're new here, I have questions. So there's no dental provided on base? And is there a co-pay or is everything covered by TriCare Dental? When we were in Japan, dental was provided on base and completely funded. Since this is technically overseas but a stateside location I'm unsure. I am a person who extremely careful about who I let touch my own teeth but my children's teeth are a far more delicate issue. I've gone to Dr Helmbrecht and he is extremely rough. Nice guy, does great work, but very rough. I would never put my children through that
