Do NOT go to Community Medical Center in Vacaville. Worst, most horrible, rude clinic I have ever been to. I do not believe there are any doctors in Rio Vista now though. Sorry I have no one to recommend! I have health net/john Muir now. Henry Collins at Sutter (Low ct fairfield) was a very nice doctor and their staff was wonderful there.

Lodi Pediatric clinic off Lower Sac and Vine. My daughter used to go there, it was always a good experience. I know they accept Medi-cal.

Theres a form u can fill out so u can opt out of certain vaccines for school. Dr. Thomas in vacaville is very pro parents choice. He makes reccommendations but is very pro whatever the parents feel os best. He is very thorough too. He has been our doc for 14 years and i have never doubted anything he has said. He has been awesome with the kids with everything from a minor cold to major cuts/breaks/and illnesses.

Under CA law, there's something called the "personal beliefs" exemption (pretty sure that's what it's called) so you don't have to get all vaccinations, however an establishment not funded by the state may have their own requirements. And I still vote for Dr. Cooney at sutter in ff if he's still around:)

Thanks ladies...just feeling overwhelmed by all these mommy decisions & I'm scared to make the wrong one. Allison Lichter she is currently seeing Dr. Cooney. He was just given to us so I didn't know if there was someone better out there.

I take my special needs son to Dr. Thomas in Vacaville Sutter Regional Medical Foundation pediatrics in Vacaville very nice, very patient with my son . Two of my other kids I take to Sutter pediatrics in Fairfield Dr. Derdzinska.... You never have to have vaccines if you don't want or can alter the vaccine schedule as well . If your use public school can sign a waiver .

I am loving it. I have Dr Hamilton for my kiddos. 4, 1.5 and 4 months old. She is very gentle w them and she has shown great care for them. I've heard nothing but good things on the Ped's at Kaiser Fairfield. Just two cents .:-)

My daughters had Dr. Bartlett since they were young. They aged out or she would still be their doctor. Love her!
