I just used The Parking Spot going out of LaGuardia. Incredibly easy. Coupons online, but an even better deal if you have AAA. They are also out of JFK. Would use again in a minute. smile emoticon

I was never able to find one in all my years of traveling. Cheapest way was Metro North to Grand Central then Subway to Jamaica Station. I did it once but it was a hassle. It is why I will only fly out of Bradley now. $6/day parking.

We just got this: The National Weather Service’s Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 6 p.m. tonight and there is still a chance for snow until about 8 p.m. In a storm that already dumped several inches of sno w on the area overnight, we are now firmly in the midst of a major ice storm that will continue throughout the whole day including this tonight’s commute home from work if you ended up going. All non-essential Fairfield Town Offices/Services are closed today and the police department is urging people to stay off the roads and stay home if possible.Police Chief Gary MacNamara tweeted the following this morning: “It is going to get worse before it gets better. The predicted freezing rain will make travel near impossible. Stay home!” The heavy snow has now mixed with sleet and freezing rain and will continue throughout the day accumulating an additional 3-5 inches and a total accumulation of 8-12 inches.And after a prolonged period of ice the freezing precipitation will turn back to all snow later around 4 p.m. The National Weather Service cautions that the freezing rain and snow could be very heavy. A total ice accumulation of up to half an inch is possible.
