There was a 'Can I eat there?' group set up in Faringdon that may be of help, I've no idea how active it is but I'm sure you'll find some helpful advice there... https://www.facebook.com/groups/1659676364286787/

The Red Lion at Northmoor, lovely pub, about 15 mins from here. Much of the menu is gluten free and if you say when you book they can assist.
Rhiannon S. replied:

Pizza express are good! They do gluten free bases and have full menu break down of what has gluten in it. One it Witney and Swindon. GBK in Swindon also do gluten free buns. X

Can anybody recommend somewhere lovely to eat in surrounding areas? Preferably a steak house or village pub as my partner doesn't eat anything "exotic" as he would put...

The King and queen in Longcot is really good. It's not cheap but the quality is really good. The White Horse in Woolston is equally good. The Eagle Little Coxwell used to be good but haven't been for a while.

Had such a lovely meal at the Bangkok kitchen Thai restaurant last night would definetly recommend trying it. Also reasonably priced too. Food tastes great!
