Patricia, sorry to hear about your negative experience in Paradisus Punta Cana. As a travel agent specializing in unique vacation experiences around the world and the father of 3 kids traveling with them a lot around the world (including Caribbean) I c an attest that there are much better all inclusive resorts. Paradisus Punta Cana is the worst from all Paradisus resorts and there are many more all inclusives that might be more suitable for you. Another thing I would like to bring - if you want an all inclusive, outstanding food, terrific programs for kids, amazing service, ability to satisfy all your requests and so on then maybe there is no such thing and you would need to decide what the most important for you. For example, in my professional opinion one of the best family friendly all inclusive in Caribbean is Grand Velas in Riviera Maya. You will find restaurants that are truly for foodies, amazing service and food, but mediocre beach and it might be boring for kids. Beaches in Turks and Caicos would be another great resort, however it might or might not fit your kids, it is great for little ones. Club Meds in Ixtapa, Cancun, Guadelope, Punta Cana are great for kids with its curcis program, water ski and so on. And it is probably the most appropriate for your kids (though I am not sure what interests they have). Food will be good however I am not sure whether it will meet your standards. All these and many other resorts can accommodate your other requests. Cruises are also an option, however not all would fit you. From kids friendly cruises I would emphasize Disney, maybe Royal Caribbean and some others. You can pm me or send email and I will be happy to help planning your next vacation. My services are completely different from all others as I go above and beyond of simplistic bookings. I am working with hotels, cruise lines, tour operators directly satisfy ANY request my clients have. Best "casual" restaurant to get lobster near Old Saybrook?
Hopey S. replied:
My mom is a huge fan of their lobster ROLL, but they do serve straight up lobster, too: Lenny & Joe's in Westbrook. Standout coleslaw, in case you care. Definitely casual, always busy. Don't forget to pick up a t-shirt. I've been wearing them since I was a teenager. :) http://ljfishtale.com/

As casual as it gets (in Noank): https://www.facebook.com/293586349499 Abbott's Lobster in the Rough

Lobster Landing in Clinton- much better lobster roll than L and J's, but Lenny and shoes has great fried scallops.
I am going to Windsor Locks tonight and I was wondering if anyone could suggest a great restaurant. We were looking at Maine Seafood. Any suggestions? I know it's not...
