I need recommendations for a trademark or intellectual properties attorney....pretty please.
Anyone have suggestions (state of Arkansas). Lynn Waller Kelly?
Colleen M. replied:
Dale Brown may know someone. I think Christian Christian Gunn Schinker might be able to help too. Good luck!
Lesleigh S. replied:
Colleen McCullough??
Kelly F. replied:
Mark Henry in Fayetteville!!
Lynn K. replied:
Clark Cowley at Whitaker Chalk in Fort Worth. Probably doesn't matter that he is not in Arkansas because those are federal matters--same everywhere.
Dale B. replied:
Dave Pieper in Kristin's comment was my recommendation.
Landlord/Tenant Issue - Protecting Tenants at Foreclosure Act of 2009 Hi all,
Wondering if anyone has specific knowledge regarding the Protecting Tenants at Foreclosure...
grasshoppa1 replied:
The PTFA expired at the end of 2014.
fcexpert replied:
1. The tenant would only be protected under the PTFA if the new property deed was issued/recorded by Dec 31, 2014. 2. When it was in effect, the new owner was bound by all lease terms unless the new owner intends to live in the home herself -both attorneys are wrong unless they are quoting something to do with state law and not the PTFA 3. Upon expiration of the PTFA, a few states enacted laws similar to the PTFA. Basically it is all up to state law now. Got our official letter from the lawyers office, saying they aren't taking our case. Anyone know a good lawyer, that hates insurance companies?
Amanda K. replied:
It happened in Missouri, newton County. Natalie Dixon Counts, essentially, the mount of money they think would be involved is not enough. Although, they say that's not the reason.
