Vet recommendation for cat. I would like to take in a stray and get her fixed. Can anyone suggest a vet that isn't too pricey?

Gulley Park Pets Clinic is a great place. There is a program called SNAP. It is a low cost spay and neuter program that only Gulley Park Pets Clinic offers. Great program for getting pets spayed or neutered.

Stanton Animal Hospital. Super cheap and even have payment plans for more expensive stuff.

I've taken my animals to Dr. Turner for years. He is a kind man who we respect very much. [Cornerstone Animal Hospital](https://plus.google.com/114475048237156966554/about?gl=us&hl=en)

The Fayetteville Animal Shelter offers a low cost program for $25. Includes spay/neuter and vaccinations. Here's a link http://www.accessfayetteville.org/government/animal_services/shelter_programs/spay_neuter.cfm
Just moved to the area. Any recommendations on a good veterinarian?

Farmington Vetrinary Clinic did a good job when I first got my puppy.

I take my cats to Bratton Vet Clinic at Mission & Crossover. I took a cat to the All Cats Clinic and it was a different person each time. Dr. Bratton knows my cats and seems to genuinely care about their well-being. I have tried a few and I really like him. My cat had a doozy of a few months. Tore her triceps, got an eye infection, sinus infection....I swear she was falling apart. I told him that I simply couldn't afford to bring her in every time she needed new anti-biotics. He said he understood and just let me get the anti-biotics to avoid the charge. He gave us free eye drops also. He always asks to call in and let him know how she's doing and actually calls back if I can't reach him! Nobody will ever compare to the vet I had in Carbondale, IL but Dr. Bratton comes damn close.

I've just started going to Gulley Park Pet clinic mostly due to the proximity to my house. Their staff is really nice (and cute to boot!) and they took good care of my dog.

Wow! Thank you all for the responses! This is incredibly helpful. I guess I will use proximity, I live near Mission and Crossover.

To me, location is a big deal, my pets don't travel well at all. If you are on the Wedington Corridor, I highly recommend Dr. Herring at the Wedington Animal Clinic. If you are near the University, All Cats Clinic is fantastic too. I've never been to Animal Medical (Rolling Hills area), but the Mohlers are customers of my business, and have always been very pleasant to work with.

Dr Marty Turner at Cornerstone Vet Clinic. Dr. Turner cares. I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else.

I use West Oaks just off the Wedington exit of 540. Friendly staff and great vets. Here's an example of the service level: my dog had demodectic mange a few months ago and was put on an antiparisitic called Iermectin. There had been some recent studies to suggest that Ivermectin could interact with the drug in the anti-flea medicine Comfortis, which my dog was taking. The vet called me personally to tell me about the study and to encourage me to suspend the Comfortis doses until after the full round of Ivermectin. But, to give an option closer to you, my parents have been satisfied with [Best Friends](http://bfahph.com/), which is east of the Mission/Crossover intersection going towards Goshen. They have left their dogs in the "pet hotel" and have never had a complaint about the service. Hope that helps!

If you have cats, there is a feline specialist who has been practicing for 20+ years in Rogers, which is 15 minutes away from Fayetteville. The place is called "The Cat Clinic," off of Walnut. https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Cat-Clinic-of-Northwest-Arkansas/181531881880417?fref=ts

Animal friends and fellow rescuers. Does anyone know of a vet in the area that sees pet rabbits? My vet doesn't. She's not sick, but I want to get a vet on board before...
