All our camps are full except the last week of June, I have three slots left. The children can bring their own horse (current negative coggins required) with prior arrangements. A big thing is to know that no one will know what you're expecting unless you clearly articulate it. Have stuff you don't want to wander away? Tag it! Put No Smoking signs up. Have an open/closed sign. Get a whiteboard for intracamp messaging. ...See More

Greg Davis farrier ( he is great and does several other barns in your area) He has done our horses for 20+ years! we are on Horse Pen, and he does a couple on Hunting Horn also. He has done high level jumpers eventers hunters driving horses and now my reiners (we did hunters for years)

Fass Bros. was out of Newport News VA.....they were seafood processors and importers.......they had their own fleet of fishing boats. Today, Louie Fass sell Cadillacs and Arthur owns Maritime Trading in Newport News.

My husband's father, Brian Wallwork Sr., owned Lakeside with his partner Mike DeCarlo. Brian Sr. later owned a seafood restaurant in Lumberton. Best seafood ever from some good Massey Hill folks. All the Wallwork boys and some other kids from MHHS worked at the restaurants.

Lakeside Fish Camp was on Wilkes Rd.....the one that burned was on East Mountain Dr......Bill Ratcliff and Doyle Beasley ran that one and it was called The Fish Hook.

I worked at Lakeside Fish Camp from July '67 till April '70...left when Brian went to Lumberton to open Brian's Seafood....was there from May '70 till August '72. Brian Wallwork was my Mentor.....he was my Best Friend and I loved him dearly......he treated me like a son....taught me so many things that have helped me all through my life. He was the Best.
