Adore Scott Stroker, only one I will see....don't know about walk ins, but know he has always seen my immediately, as he has my mother. Thankfully, after he cleared up my serious sciatic nerve, I have not had not go back again! He will also tell you if he can not help and you need to see another physician, unlike some others.

Dana, thanks. I have a Paso Fino mare, Mari, that has a problem stumbling but neither the farrier nor my vet has been able to correct. When I first got her about a year ago, I tried numerous things such as a change in tack and corrective shoeing (which has helped somewhat). I even considered that it might be me as my balance isn’t good right now due to chemotherapy side effects, but she stumbles with other riders as well. While she toes out slightly in the front, the vet says she has no apparent problems that should affect her flexibility or mobility and her joints appear normal; she has never come up lame or had any hoof diseases. Mari has even fallen to her knees while I was trail riding which makes me very concerned for my safety. Otherwise, she is a great horse – beautiful and responsive, with a wonderful, controlled spirit. At the vet’s recommendation I am lunging her daily to help improve her muscle tone (she is only 7) but my instinct tells me this is not the issue and I think a chiropractor might be able to help. I am running out of resources but don’t want to give up on her! Yes, I would appreciate contact information for Dr. Chandler. Thanks again, Ellen

Greg Davis farrier ( he is great and does several other barns in your area) He has done our horses for 20+ years! we are on Horse Pen, and he does a couple on Hunting Horn also. He has done high level jumpers eventers hunters driving horses and now my reiners (we did hunters for years)

Man, I wish you had posted earlier. I live in Sanford (actually have a Broadway address but really just outside of Sanford) and I just had Dr. Libby Engel out on Monday and she is amazing. She is coming out the next time to adjust my horses on November 25. You may want to give her a call because I know that she is doing another friend of mine's horses that lives between Sanford and Pittsboro. Not sure when but she is awesome. Also. Blades McKnight is awesome and she has come out to my farm.
