Kelly S. replied:
My kids went to Dr. Akrawi and we were happy with him.694-9110
Rebecca H. replied:
Chris Harrison is not a ped., but he has 4 small children of his own and always listens to my Mommy instinct. Nice guy as well. 714-9660
ClayJennell C. replied:
Dr Harrison in silver parkway! We LOVE him!!
CrystalandEric M. replied:
My kids saw Dr Harrison before Kirby. Not a fan! He would make u come in for absolutely everything (more copays) when it could of been resolved over a phone call. I waisted a lot of time and $ with him!
CrystalandEric M. replied:
Dr Harrison is also only associated with genesis hospital. Hurley is the best hospital for pediatrics... Kirby is Hurley
Katie M. replied:
Dr. Benford is who I go to on Torrey Rd. Like Dr. Harrison she is not a ped., but she's great! She's a Genesys affiliate, but she's not opposed getting treatment at Hurley or elsewhere. She always seems to do what's best, and she really listens.
Robin S. replied:
Dr. Nakita Dani at Fenton Medical is who the girls see. She is stern when necessary but truly concerned about them. She is a Hurly doc.
Heather S. replied:
Crystal my kids see Kennedy too and we love her. I think she might of had a death in the family, not quite sure tho. I think they said she will be back in Sept. I am taking my kids to see Sarah the nurse practitioner! My kids have seen her before and she is super nice. She is in the same building. Or you can see Dr. Glavas, he is in same bldg too and super nice as well:)
Trisha R. replied:
My husband sees Dr. Harrison I see Dr. Dani and the kids see Dr. Puttagunta on North Leroy. She has always been really good with them.
CrystalandEric M. replied:
I have PPO as well. The benefit with having a Hurley dr is that when you do decide to go to Hurley for emergencies, you don't get assigned Dr Joe Schmo. You have a dr u trust that can practice medicine at the hospital you're at.
Nicole K. replied:
We see Dr. Bossenbuger his practice is with Harrison again not a ped. but have been with all three kids since birth and I really like him. It's a plus he knows the entire family.
Tarin H. replied:
Dr Sanchez is amazing! Flint location but worth the drive!!
Dorothy O. replied:
We used to go to Dr. Kennedy. I believe she is caring for her mother. I have my kids going to Christopher Iacobelli near Sagebrush. He is not a pediatrician but I trust him with my kids.
I need an awesome pediatrician in the Fenton area - anyone know of any? I'm tired of driving to Brighton for an office we aren't very impressed with. Thanks in advance!

I know you were asking for pediatricians in the Fenton area, but I go to Pediatric Associates of Livingston in Brighton now and they are great...they have late nights which I know is important to you and Dr. Dan and Dr. Ping are good...haven't met Dr. Baumeier yet...anyways...I almost always see Dr. Ping, unless it is one of her days off and my kids are too sick to wait till the next day...overall I am very impressed!
Jen K. replied:
Well it looks like Dr. Haddad is super popular around here! I'll give their office a call. Thanks everyone!
Carrie B. replied:
We go to IHA and they have between 2 docs we see there. I love Melissa Heinon but they remember our boys but again we're there often but I like more personable offices more. I was mad when there other pediatrician office closed. At the hospital in Howell.
Tara S. replied:
Yea Trissy goes to IHA and the ONLY time we can get in with her primary (Dr. Hall) is for her anual checkup which is scheduled way in advance....I'm about over them too!!
Rebecca W. replied:
If you call Dr Haddad he will meet you at the office after 5 if your child needs to be seen.
Leanne H. replied:
Dr Haddad in grand blanc- 24 hrs and holidays!!! Love him
Rebecca W. replied:
I was gonna recommend Dr Haddad also. My grandson goes to him.
Al V. replied:
Talk to Jen about Dr. Danni at Fenton medical
Michael W. replied:
Dr. Haddad is who I suggest for all my patients.
Carrie B. replied:
The only thing I really live about Dr Heinon she keeps us updated about Carsens chromosome deletion. Which the old docs did a lot for us and on their own time as well.
Nina K. replied:
I have been going to IHA for 9 years and they ALWAYS schedule us with our primary (unless it's an unexpected visit and she's not there, rarely) and I'm SO sorry you feel like you've been treated poorly. I recommend them to everyone. We've had nothing less than stellar experiences with them. Our primary is Dr. Khunger. She's amazing.
Jen K. replied:
I've met Dr. Khunger too - I think we've met them all almost. We see the nurse often too. Glad your experience is better. They are all very nice - I just was peeved that they'd perscribe something my son has allergies to when thats something they should know (since they asked multiple times). I also dislike that I never know who we're going to see - my kids arent given the chance to get comfortable with one of them because they see different people each time - maybe its because we usually do later appointments.
Taking pediatrician recommendations. Currently driving to Flint every time one of the kids needs to see the doctor. Hoping to find a good one in the...

Dr. Bishop has office hours in brighton. Catholic practice. Sacred Heart Medical Center based out of Livonia but sees patients in brighton.
I'm looking for a pediatrician/or family doctor who is an MD or DO that also believes in holistic methods. Any recommendations?
Page K. replied:
I go to The Downing Clinic in Clarkston. Dr Laura K....... Originally found her because I choose Thermascans over mammograms. I like her a lot.
Danny B. replied:
They can be hard to find. As I recall, Dr. David Ewing, DDS knows of a DO in the area who meets the qualification. I'll try to remember to aSK him next time I see him.
Dan and I have now been through two pediatricians for Gabby and both we did not like, obviously. so now we are onto our third. She needs shots in a couple weeks and I...
