Oceanside Cleaners is a professional plant in Jacksonville. They pick up and deliver on the island Monday and Thursday. Very dependable. Call them to arrange, they provide hook for your door but we have hanging rack in garage for driver. Their workmanship is top notch and if they have an issue they are on the phone to you quickly. Have used them for ten years.

Yes, I had asked the same question a few months ago and several people recommended Valet Cleaners in the Publix shopping center. I have used them several times and have never been unhappy with them.

Went to Valet Cleaners today. I met Ida, the owner, and told her about this Facebook post and all the recommendations she got. Her eyes welled up and she said that yesterday she had a very bad day, so my news cheered her up so much she almost started crying! Then I almost lost it, too! LOL:-)

The only one I would trust is Oceanside Cleaners on Southside Blvd. In Jacksonville. They will pick up here on a Monday and Thursdays but for vintage I would drive down for a consult with Michael, owner. Some traditional kimono is rayon....which is very weak when wet. They will guide you to whether it can be cleaned or not....

Valet Dry Cleaners in the Publix shopping plaza on the island has one day service if you drop off on a Monday through Thursday before 2 pm. It will be back by 4 pm the next day. If you bring it on Friday it will be back on Monday. Drop offs on Saturday come back Tuesday. I don't think anyone in Nassau offers same day service. Great people at Valet.
