I have Verizon on the north end, and I will say my service was poor UNTIL last week, when I upgraded my iPhone 5 to an iPhone 7, due to a hardware problem . . .what a difference!! I have AT&T U-Verse for my internet & landline . . and use a Roku . . it's outstanding, and I've had it for two years!

You can get a network extender/signal booster device from Verizon to help your cell signal. It works with your wifi to boost your signal. We had zero Verizon cell signal in our house (off the island) and the signal booster helped greatly. We have ATT for wifi and landline. We have Dish Network for TV because we had been using Dish for years. Our ATT wifi has been pretty reliable, but since we are off the island, I can't speak to the reliability there.

It's a long shot - but if you have a Pixel, Pixel 2 or Android One (or are looking to replace your phone/s) - Google's Project Fi service is great. If you don't use all your data, you get a credit on your next bill. It uses Sprint, T-Mobile, and U.S. Cellular service. You can make calls over WiFi, and international roaming is free. I can take my phone to Europe, step off the plane, and use it immediately without any issues. $20/mo. +$10 per GB of data. I never use all my data, so my bill is usually less than $30/mo.
