Youre gonna pay a pretty penny for good work but Brian Gallager at Ink Monkey in McClenny does all our work and at a fair price. Hes a cool dude. Mine work is thick lining with black and white fill. My husbands is outlined great freehand and all color.

Well....my first suggestion is a great tattoo will cost you no matter who you go to. You get what you pay for, no matter who you decide on. Some may even charge by hour verses a single piece. Most artists are usually great at line work. They are in the wrong profession if they aren't! Blown out lines are a huge mistake and any respectable artist knows how to avoid them. My suggestion is to be more specific and know what you want in design and style verses just color and line work. Don't go on everyone's opinion. Take a look at portfolios and talk to the artists themselves. Consultations aren't free but will give you a great head start. Every artist has their own style they excel in. Check out every artist mentioned and decide who is best fit for your tattoo. I personally have not had any work done in Fernandina or Jacksonville but I do always get asked on suggested shops. My first suggestion on overall amazing work that I have seen on friends is Tiffany Grassl of Electric Mermaid.
