Hello! Here's a preemptive WTF (Welcome To Flagstaff)! LOL sorry it's a silly local joke here.
Anyway, I can highly recommend the preschool we sent 2 of our 3 kids to for multiple years each, called Flagstaff Cooperative Preschool. It's run by Liz Taylor (Yes, her real name!) who has a master's in early education and also is a lecturer in the early education dept at the University here. She is fantastic. She runs a tight ship in her class room but also creates a loving and highly educational environment for the kiddos. It is located within the Marshall Elementary school but is not actually part of the public school system. It has a co-op structure so you can volunteer to help out in the classroom in exchange for a lowered tuition. It's a popular program so I would recommend calling to get on their list asap.
As for a REALTOR, of course I would love if you were to hire me! My name is Dustin Blodgett and I've lived in Flagstaff for 16 years and been a REALTOR for 2. I will DM you my contact info. My partner, David Swain, and I are a great team and we provide fantastic service and support to our clients. As others have mentioned, Flagstaff is a very competitive market right now for buyers. Our inventory is incredibly low and the number of buyers is increasing. I'm hoping to see more homes come on the market this summer as more people are vaccinated and the pandemic simmers down. That would really help out the buyers here.

I actually found my realtor based on another Reddit post, and am very happy with the experience. Deb Bateman just helped us find our first house, literally moving in last weekend. She was super responsive, and even after everything cleared and we got our keys, she still volunteered to meet painters at the house for estimates, as we only have one car and weren’t able to get out there. 928 699 9688.

I'm under contract on a home and the market is extremely aggressive. Expect waiving a contingency and bidding sight unseen if you want a chance to get a home purchase. Let me know if you need a realtor.

If you’re just coming for graduate school... I would rent. Buying a home in this town is near impossible unless you’re sitting on a giant pile of money. Also, unless you’ll be here for a while to see homes as they hit the market—you’ll be putting in blind offers.
