I have seen Dr Silverton since being diagnosed with malignant melanoma in 1999. I have had good experiences with him, he can be somewhat arrogant. Everywhere you go the PA's will be very involved.

Walters PAs are females so once he gets a look at you I'm sure you'll see a lot of him and vice a versa plus he is a very delightful person and highly qualified

Oh, now that I read the rest of the comments, it looks like it's OK to say who I am not happy with....Dr. Barkey's PA.

Dr Berlin saved my life. I had gone to my Dr, my dentist, Ear Nose and Throat Specialist, U Of M Hospital and some of them a number of times. I had mouth ulcers, negative to herpes virus. Nothing was working. I could barely eat. My weight dropped to 1 04 and 5 minutes with Dr Berlin, he diagnosed me. It took 3 months to cure a 7 year problem, because I had to swish the medicine and spit it out. Dr Berlin is still practicing?

Dr Silverton did the surgery for my Mom's skin cancer. He was nice to my sister's and I, and great with my Mom. I didn't think he was an egomaniac. That was about 15 years ago though.

Dr. Sliverton! His family is friends of ours! They are great! He is a very smart doctor and knows his trade! He does a ton of continuting ed and he and his family are AMAZING people- Trust me!

I've gone to Dr. Barkey and he is very good - and the wait time is short, as they are very organized... That being said, I have several family members and co-workers that go to Gaffney. I've heard wonderful things about Dr. Gaffney and you will get in faster there.... but the wait time is long.

My Chicklet saw Dr,Barkey as a baby and he missed diagnosed her and told us that we were over zealous parents. Took her to Uof M and she was diagnosed with a lifelong genetic skin problem. We then saw Dr. Gaffney as our local skin dr. and we waited for hours and he kept changing his mind and diagnosis. U of M recommended the NEW LADY DR at Dr. Silvertons office.(I forgot her nam) She was phenominal!!
