Lisa W. replied:
I love our current vet and would be comfortable with his recommendation (Dr. Davis, Florence Veterinary Hospital). I will say that we went to a different veterinary practice when we first moved here 4 years ago. At the time they diagnosed one of my dogs (a Boxer mix) as needing a very expensive surgery (I believe they diagnosed a torn ligament also). I was given three treatment options by them, none of which sounded great. Also, when they explained the 3rd, "bottom tier" option, I was given the impression that only pet owners who can't do anything else did this one. I ended up calling my long time vet in our previous town and talked to her, and she better explained the situation. No surgery was needed AT ALL. This may not be your situation, but in any case, my advice is, definitely get a second opinion.

A Step Ahead Therapy in Crestview. Dan Cross is the owner/PT. They also have speech and OT. But it would depend on the dx because 11.5 may be a bit old. Meaning...so your kiddo feels comfortable.
