He saved us money by arguing with a manufacturer (Whirlpool) about why they should cover our oven repair, even though it was past the warranty - and they did! I have a Samsung French Door as well and ice maker suddenly stopped working. I called Billy (recommended on FMC somewhere) and he told me to unplug the fridge, wait a minute or so, and plug back in. Did that and an hour later it started working again! No need for him to come out and haven't had an issue since. He said unplugging does a hard reset of the control board. We also had Samsung French door refrigerator. Would not cool properly and Marathon Appliance tried multiple repairs. Eventually said it was not fixable, refunded our costs except for initial service call and we bought Whirlpool. Never buy Samsung again. Several appliance salesmen told us they have worst record needing repairs.
