If you are going to go through an entire kitchen renovation, I highly suggest starting with an experienced designer who has a track record of doing a lot of renovations. I'm working with https://www.facebook.com/541894569208992 Inspirations Interiors by Elena Johnson for my kitchen and home renovation and she's brought up some points, things to consider where other contractors haven't mentioned at all. If I have an idea for something, she'll give her feedback but also tell me, "Well, if you do that, that's fine but then you have to consider that it's going to effect A, B and C and this is why. If you don't want to go through all of those changes, how about this idea instead?" I've posed the same comments to other contractors I've met with and they all thought the idea was a good one with no mention about other issues that may arise from it. That kind of feedback and insight comes from years of solid experience in renovations. If you search on here, a lot of different clients have referred her since she works a lot in FM and surrounding areas from new builds, complete kitchen & bathroom renovations to simply decorating your Christmas tree:-). Elena Sullivan Johnson also has a list of contractors that she can refer to you that you hire directly so she doesn't mark up their services.

Structured Foundation 972-484-1200. Have used them both as a realtor and for my own home. The vast majority of the time, they have said no work needed to be done. They are very good, honest and if work needs to be done, very reasonable.

I use Crannell&Crannell for my clients if we need a structural engineer at first and for the work I have Phillip Duffin w MBR do the work (817) 891-6426 he will come look first too if you like he is very honest.

Most foundation companies will bring in an engineer before and after the work as part of their price. Several of them use Crannell & Crannell. I also recommend Structured Foundation.

We used Premier Foundation with Jeff Crannell's recommendations about 15 years ago and still have no issues. I really liked the fact that it was a female owned business.:)

HIGHLY recommend Foundation Dynamics! We just had 10 piers put in before Christmas. They were punctual, respectful, tidy, and my flower beds look better now than they did before they dug them up for the repair. Haha!
