Be sure to search and read the thread about hiring movers that move you based on an estimated quote OR by weight. People have been taken advantage of and threatened to have their belongings put in storage if they didn't pay exhorbant additional fees once the movers were there OR once their belongings were packed up and in the truck. We've used AB Movers before and were happy.

We have used Small World Movers for a local move and we were very happy with them. We also had them move a very nice Dining room set to Virginia and it was delivered in perfect shape and they worked around a crazy schedule!!!

Hi Meghan, we have a load of used boxes you can’t take for free or new boxes for sale. And we have recently used Bell Brothers Removal and Storage. Based in Fort Worth but provided a great service.

If you go to Chick Fil A before lunch or dinner you can ask them to save their fry boxes. They’re clean and sturdy, I’ve used them every time I’ve moved!

The best place to buy regular small, medium, and large boxes is Home Depot or Lowe's (they will buy back what you don't use). If you need paper, tape, or bubble wrap, let me know - I sell it for usually less than retail.

I second Little Guys. Tell them we sent you. They did a big move for us, best pricing around, and they bid the JOB, not some odd hourly fee. Nothing ruined, polite, nonsmoking on job....I would use them again. Showed up on time, worked like crazy, and they are the first moving company we have used which we would recommend.
