Looking for new nail salon. Bobby did my nails for 12 years. He has moved on and is now a LPN!! No one compares so I'm having difficulty finding a replacement....
Sheila S. replied:
I have been to the nail salon by Southern Maid twice. I only went because the woman I use in Carrollton was out of town. BOTH times I asked for solar gel nails, which is what was already on my nails. BOTH times I was given acrylic fill, which promptly broke within days. I then had to have the whole set removed and replaced. I have also had pedicures at the shop up by Jersey Mikes, Delux Nails? They were...ok...but they scrubbed the calluses on my heels without using a callus remover or softener first. I ended up with one side of my heel rubbed raw. I've never been back to either shop.

Been going to Envy Nails by Sprouts for 9 years and they are fabulous. I've never been cut, burned, or infected. They have been voted Best in Denton for at least 5 years. Tang and Vanessa are the owners and they are the sweetest! Might be a bit more expensive, but totally worth it!
LauriAnn C. replied:
Holly Nails by Sara's Donuts, Envy Nails, and Bliss. I've been to Grand Lux and FM Nail Spa - not very impressed. For what I paid at those two, I get twice as much at Hollys. And my nails don't chip within a week.

I know you wanted more local, but Spa Castle in Carrolten is great. I'm actually going today. It's $35 admission for a day pass which gets you into all of their pools, hot tubs, mineral baths, etc. they have a swim up bar too. They have lots of food options, including Sushi! They have a nail salon, massage parlor, etc too. It's not even a 30 min drive.

Anyway, I just got home from Flower Mound Nails by Kroger at 3040 and Gerault, so if you're bypassing the flood this week and going out 3040 to 121 or 35, you'll pass right by it. Run by a lovely local couple who take a lot of care in hiring experienced help, and the place is very clean and efficient.
Hi moms... My almost 15 month old had his frenulum clipped early on, by Brandon Christianson, MD, at Texas ENT center in Fort Worth. We were very happy with him, and...
Amanda R. replied:
Dr. Bauer in Coppell did this for my daughter at 9 days old. She was unable to eat properly and was losing weight. Procedure was fast and easy.
Jon S. replied:
Dr Bradley Evans was great with our twins. We had a really bad experience with a local pediatric ENT and went to Dr Evans for second opinion and then additional issues a couple years later. Several folks have recommended him on Flo Mo Cares as well.
Rachel G. replied:
Dr. Oser in Southlake does a laser procedure which is often more effective than clipping. It made a huge difference for our daughter. In our case, we didn't find pediatricians or doctors to over diagnose at all. They didn't see it to be a problem. But we went ahead and it was the right decision.
Amanda Z. replied:
We can do the laser procedure at Pediatric Dental World. We have lots of infants coming in for this these days. 972.317.6997
Rachel B. replied:
Dr. Murray did this procedure on my son 12 years ago when my son was 9 months. I highly recommend him. I think he's in Southlake now.
Jennifer S. replied:
Dr. Bauer did our son's procedure. We waited for about 3 years, and we regret it. The surgery became a little more involved, and I think we added unnecessary pain to our child. I wish we would have done it when he was an infant.
Any recommendations on nail salons that can do Christmas decorations on nails?? Looking to take my soon-to-be 14
